Absence

We take attendance and punctuality extremely seriously.  If your child is absent from school please let us know before registration at 8.45am so that we can authorise the absence in our register. We are now required by law to publish all unauthorised absences and we cannot authorise them unless we have heard from you either by submitting the form below or by telephone: 01285 653799

Please inform the office of any medical appointments your child will be attending in school time.

TERM TIME ABSENCE

Due to amendments to the 2006 Education Regulations, Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence in term time unless there are exceptional circumstances.  Requests for absence due to exceptional circumstances should be submitted to the School Office in writing using the form below.  Paper copies of the form are also kept in the wall pockets opposite the Office.
